Mika Sorri – Head of Electrification
Mechatronics engineer Mika Sorri joins Lumikko as a seasoned sales and technology professional with over 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering, sheet metal production, and design. Passionate about electrifying work machines, Mika has a long-standing connection with Lumikko, having known the company since childhood and later through professional collaborations.
“Lumikko’s strong team spirit, genuine values, and clear strategy drew me in,” Mika shares.
As Head of Electrification, Mika will focus on the energy sector, overseeing sales of battery thermal management systems. His customer-oriented approach and extensive industry expertise make him a trusted partner in meeting the growing demands of the energy sector.
Eero Yli-Rahnasto – Strategic Buyer
With a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Eero Yli-Rahnasto brings extensive experience in procurement development and production processes. Eero appreciates the growth-oriented, collaborative atmosphere at Lumikko.
“The positive work environment and focus on development have made an excellent first impression,” Eero says.
As Strategic Buyer, Eero will focus on supplier relationship management, competitive bidding, and optimizing procurement processes. His efforts will strengthen Lumikko’s supply chain, ensuring high quality and reliable deliveries for our customers.
Inka Seppälä – Simulation Engineer
Inka Seppälä, a Master of Science in Engineering Physics, specializes in thermodynamics, mathematics, and simulation models. At Lumikko, Inka will apply her expertise to simulation-driven design, enabling us to optimize system efficiency and reliability early in the development process.
Through simulation, Lumikko delivers more sustainable and precise thermal management solutions, reducing development time, minimizing risks, and enhancing performance.
“I’m eager to use the skills I gained during my studies and contribute to exciting projects where mathematics and logical reasoning come to life,” Inka explains.
