Lumikko BTMS (Battery Thermal Management System is a modular liquid cooling system tailored for electric work machines. Designed for precise battery temperature control, it adapts seamlessly to varying conditions and power demands – without unnecessary oversizing. Lumikko BTMS units can be operated in parallel within the same liquid circuit to significantly extend the power range. The system also supports retrofit expansion if higher cooling capacity is required in the future.

Designed for versatility, Lumikko BTMS is ideal for a wide range of applications – from mining and port machinery to wheel loaders, dump trucks, container handlers, trucks, and earthmoving machines. Lumikko BTMS is highly versatile and adaptable to a wide range of applications. In addition to batteries, it can be used to manage the temperatures of various powertrain components or virtually any device connected to a liquid cooling circuit. The condenser circuit can be realized using either an air-cooled heat exchanger (as shown) or by connecting directly to an existing liquid circuit, such as a water tank, seawater system, or heat recovery loop.
